Growing up with a family that belongs to teaching field, it was a big shock to them that I chose to go on a different path and decided to enroll in medical inclined course. I spent my high school days studying in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics curriculum in order to be ready before I attend an actual medical course. It's been hard, yes. But my eagerness to be a doctor someday kept me going. I chose BS Pharmacy because I really love to know everything about medicines; how they are made and what they are made for. I am looking forward on working and studying in laboratories! The RPh in my last name really thrills me! My heart belongs in helping other people and I want to learn everything that could help them. 

There are a lot of reasons why we should not be here today, but God gave us a chance to be here! Don't let that chance go to waste. Let's help each other grow and succeed! I hope you are all well and kicking!

Hello everyone, I am Jade Ashanti B. Cariño, born on May 25, 2002, lives with my siblings and parents at Alvear II Street, Lingayen, Pangasinan. My father is a welder and my mother is a housewife but most of the time she's not in our house because she do part-time jobs. If there is one word that I can use to describe myself, it's I'm mysterious, lots of my friends tell me that I am and I could say they're right. I have different versions of myself, I am different around my parents, different with my friends, different with strangers, and so on. Most of the time the gap is too big between who I am to you and who I am to other people. I can be boring and fun depending to whom I am with. So why am I here? It's up to you if you want to keep on reading, I guess this is too long for an introduction. lol.

Becoming a pharmacist is not my dream, from when I was a young girl up to graduating senior high school my dream isn't consistent, but it only spins to 4 choices, yet pharmacist is not included,  I  made this choice on the last hour, August 2020, why did I choose pharmacy, and why too late? Because someone told me in bs chemistry youll be a teacher, so I turned it down, so I said okay fine I'll take chemical engineering, that was my decision until I graduate senior high school, since pandemic happened, enrollment was cancelled and ofcourse classes was cancelled, and because I dont want to die yet I told my parents I won't go to college this year, and its fine with them so it was decided, then July, my mom told me I need to enroll and I understand her reason,so right away I tried to enroll, "other university" is my only school choice, because its the only university with chemical engineering in here, so I contact them and all, but then theyre hard to contact, I waited for their reply but they just keep on saying contact this and contact that but I just end up not enrolled, because I got mad, and all, actually I need their answers about the scholarship also but they're really hard to response, since the only university that I'm sure I'll get a scholarship is PHINMAN UPang, I mean I'm already a grantee of the HK50 scholarship so I tried to enroll, they're also hard to contact at that time but "other university"  is 60% harder, I got mad because when I enrolled online and waited for the verification message they're saying, it took almost a month for it to arrive, and it never arrived, etc., etc., so August PHINMA UPang HK Scholarship texted me the deadline and I reserved my scholarship. By the way before and during all of that, I searched about my chosen course, which is chemical engineering so everyday, during quarantine days, that's what I do, then from that I have concluded that chemical engineering isn't right for me to choose, because its not more on chemistry, and I read that pharmacy will suit me better, thats why I chose pharmacy, and since the world is telling me to go to PHINMA UPang Im here and all. Unexpected things happened but it went well, I think it's because of God, it's his plan, that eventhough I already had plans, things didn't go how I wanted it, but I really thank God for it.I want to become a pharmacist, if Im being practical, its because of a good salary, and in addition of practicality, I also wanted to, because pharmacist have a lot of chemistry, and of all the branches of science, chemistry is my favorite, why science? because science makes sense, it's interesting compared to other subjects like math, english, filipino, etc... I want to apply my knowledge and what I'm still about to learn on this career that I chose, and that is pharmacy, that's all thank you. Why do you want to be a Pharmacist? The reason why I want to be a Pharmacist because it was my heart screams and desire for so long. Entering the medical field means you love Science and stuffs to and I love Science since Elementary. Simple!
