Taekwondo comprises of 2 main competition components, Poomsae and Kyorugi (sparring).<br><br>The relevant information and knowledge can be obtained through courses organised by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF). These courses prepare and equips coaches with skills and knowledge to better help them in their coaching. <br><br>Such courses include the National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) technical courses, Poomsae coach courses and referee courses. <br><br>In addition to these courses, there are refresher seminars that the federation conducts yearly in order to update the coaches with the latest development of the sports. <br><br>Through interaction with fellow coaches, having constructive discussion about the different methods of training, gaining new insights to coaching students. <br><br>Can be done in multiple ways. Firstly, the closest opportunity to observe coaching and obtain knowledge would be via learning from mentors. These mentors are often our coaches that had groomed us and seniors that sets good examples for us to learn. <br><br>Secondly, we can learn from other seniors in the sports that offer sound advices and information to us. We will be able to observe them whilst we are attending courses conducted by them, looking at how they teach and convey knowledge to us effectively.<br><br>Thirdly, through friendlies and exchanges arranged to interact with other clubs, we will have opportunities to see how other coaches teach and interact with their students. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>
