Why elements produce colors?

The elements produce colors

because the electrons in the

elements get excited in the

fire and release energy after

they exhaust. That energy is

what produces the colors.

When we took the coffee sticks that were in

diffrent chemimals and put them in the fire,

then the fire changed color because evey element

has it's own unique color.

What is the identity of the unknown element? What color is it?

The unknown element that we burned is Lithium. When we

burned the lithium it produced a reddish pink color.

We are burning elements

with a bunsen burner to find

their color and why each

element produces a different

color when it is burned.

When we were burning the elements on the bunsen burner we found out that they burn a certain color, each element has a different color when it is burned. We also burned an unknown element and had to figure out which element that was by the color it showed when it was burned.
