The primary source did not include the actual characters, but the style of 'Education for Death' is similar to other Disney productions, with a fairy tale world design and moments of humor. At the same time there are clear differences--the moment where every German child is trained to salute Hitler is more horrifying than amusing. This might shock our sensibilities, but in a time of war, these sorts of shocking portrayals may have been more acceptable.
