I learnt the note E which is the first and second finger (Yellow and Red) and also D which is just the first finger (Yellow)

I'm struggling with practicing in my own time and updating my Padlet with practice journals without reminders from Mr David.

To improve with my music i will

1. Upload more practice journals

2. Watch Videos and look at Practicing Musician to learn Viola better

3. Practice at home

   Mr david told me to add dates and use the updated template so I will edit my padlet posts. Also, I will practice more

Focus: Learning the first few notes of the song Do Re Mi from The Sound of Music.

(Do a deer a female deer, Re a drop of golden sun, Mi a name I call myself)

Resources: Mei and I watched a tutorial on youtube and worked together with karina to find the notes aswell.

Improve: Work on continuing it and remembering the last few notes because I forgot the fingering at the end as you saw.

My warmup was playing From the Start.

I practiced this song that I learned when I played violin in 1st grade. I wanted to do this because it's helpful to learn the bow movements, creating nice sounding notes and as a fun warmup. I used my memory. For improvement I will work on the tempo so I don't randomly speed up and slow down. I practiced for maybe 10 minutes.

I wanted to practice this because I'm not sure I remember the notes. I used my prior padlet posts to remember the notes

I don't think I played the right notes so I'll have to check next class or time I practice. I practiced for 10 minutes.

My warmup was playing the mystery song. I focused on practicing the scale and making sure I got the notes right. I used my memory and guidance from Tara, Mei and Karina. I want to improve the speed and be able to do it faster and without struggling as much. I practiced for around 10 minutes.

My warmup was doing the scale up and down multiple times. In this video I focused on playing the A minor pentatonic scale on my keyboard. I used what Mr. David taught us in class to play this. Next time I want to do it smoothly with one hand. I practiceed for around five minutes.

My warmup was the c major scale and also mary had a little lamb. i focused on learning the first verse to Laufey's From the Start. I used https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5hIbPP0ZIk to learn this. Next time I want to do it more smoothly and faster, also learning more of the song. I practiced this for around 15 mins.

For me out of all the challenges in music class I think self management is the most difficult for me. This is because I cannot find the motivation to make consistent practice journals.

For me the easiest ATL to follow is probably memorising parts. For me, it's easy to remember notes and melodies so this is an area in which I'm skilled in.

I want to work on selfmanagent so I can work on updating my padlet.

I practiced this Elvis song for around 20 minutes. I was specifically focused on making it cleaner. Next time I would like to continue further and do it a bit more in tempo.
