Static electricity electrons stays on the object. lighting strike is a high power of electricity. Plus and minus stand for positive and negitive. Copper most common used in wires, metals are good counducter. Short circut is bad, its a wire one side to the other on a battery. V is volts. High voltage is dangerous. Plasitc is an electrical insulator. Parallel circiut other lights will not affect the other lights. Only one path is a series circuit. One light goes out they all go out in a series curcuit. Parallel circuit has more than one path to get to the bulbs and back to power. 120-240 wall outlet. Minus (negitive) to plus (poisitive) electricity.

Electricity is a flow of charged particles. Electrons are negatively charged while protons are positively charged. Electron to proton relationship is similar to gravity. Electrons stay in orbit because of a pull. Battery converts stored chemical energy into electrical energy. Electrically charged clouds release their charge in the form of lightning. In a battery, negative terminal makes electrons move to positive terminal. Atoms move from atom to atom, which creates a charge or imbalance of protons and electrons. A circuit is a pathway for electrons to flow. A switch opening will turn the light off, closing the switch will turn it on. In a parallel circuit, removing one light will not affect the other do to multiple paths. Series circuits are one pathway that affects multiple lights. Parallel circuits control multiple lights on different pathways.
