  • Does each body paragraph include a quote that supports the reason in that paragraph?

  • Does each body paragraph explain how its evidence supports your main argument?

  • Do you have a paragraph that addresses a counterclaim and clearly refutes it with logic and/or evidence?

  • Are you using a variety of different language and methods to introduce your reasons, evidence and analysis?

  • Have I proofed my essay for issues of spelling and grammar?
