         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lets look at the pattern for the velocity in the x and y direction. &nbsp;<br>Notice, the velocity in the x direction does not change because their is no force in the x direction.&nbsp; The velocity in the y direction changes by 10 (or 9.8) every second because of the acceleration due to gravity in the y direction.<br>Also, notice how the velocities compare when the projectile is at the same height (going up and going down).<br>NOTE: Each dot is one second (motion map).</div>]]></description>
