On Saturday afternoon, my partner and I went to Simón Bolívar waterfront. We walked for half an hour and finally found a tourist to interview. At the beginning, it was hard because some didn’t want to appear in the video but then we met Cristine. She was from France but she could speak English. She was with some friends knowing our country. She was a dancer and wanted to go to Riobamba. She smiled and laughed in the video and after it. She was very kind and easygoing. At first, I felt nervous to talk with a foreigner but at the end I felt confident about my English skills. On Saturday morning, my classmate and I prepared some questions by WhatsApp, we wrote 10 questions in Present Simple and 5 in Past Simple, and after lunch we went to the downtown.

On Thursday with my partner cristopher we went to the waterfront and walked for an hour looking for the tourists. It was difficult because some people ignored us and refused to answer our questions. While we were walking we did not decide who was going to talk to foreigners and my partner made the game of face and seal, I chose face and seal and I lost, until we found a group of very nice travelers from different countries. They were sitting on the floor resting and enjoying the scenery, and I decided to approach them and ask for their help, while my partner (cris) recorded all my conversation and then we changed the places.
We had problems with the recording both for my partner (Majo) and for me since being in an open area, the wind was very loud, then we finished recording both tourists still thinking about the errors and the audio failure. Then we went to the university to edit the video and clean the sound on a computer from a classmate in the music production class.

On Tuesday afternoon my partner and I went to Iguana’s Park in the center of Guayaquil. We walked for some time until found a tourist to interview. It was complicated because we COULDN'T record inside the park, however we did it. We conducted two interviews, the first person was Beatriz. She spoke little spanish so it was difficult because we had to pronounce very well for him to understand the questions. She from Pensilvania in the USA. She wanted to visit Ecuador because she liked the culture and the people. The places that she liked the most were the lighthouse in the Peña’s neighborhood, Samanes’s Park and Simón Bolivar waterfront also said that hopes to return soon to Ecuador since it’s of exchange. Our second tourist was Matias he was born in Chile but live in Germany and he talked perfectly english. He said about your traveled to Ecuador. His trip was to know economic data since he is an economist but also took the opportunity to visit other places of Ecuador such as Quito, Cuenca, Manta, the Oriente. He said that people were very gentle, it felt very good and that was his last day in Ecuador.

Last Thursday Katherine and me went to Guayaquil's waterfront. We walked about one hour from the University to the MAAC and back. We looked for tourists all around the waterfront but we only found local people. So we gave up and walked back to the University. But then we saw two peolpe that looked like tourists. I wanted to get closer and talk them. I asked them if they wanted to help me, and Christopher, the tourist, said yes. It was very funny because they talked spanish too so I could explain why I was there talking with him. I was very nervous and for that reason I wrote the questions in my phone, because I didn't want to forget anything and waste their time.

Questions:
1. What is your name?
2.

On thursday in the afternoon I went to the Iguanas park because is well known that there are many tourists there. First I talked to a man and I asked him If I could ask him some questions but he said that he was busy and he did not have enough time. Then I met a man from Netherlands he was very kind and accepted to help me answering the questions, I explained him that this is for my english class. He told me that he came to Ecuador with his family and he told me that he did not speak spanish. I think he understood my english pronunciation really well and I am glad because I could communicate with him easily. This was a very nice experience becase it was the first time I have talked to a foreigner in english. I think this is very inspiring for me because it makes me want to practice more and more my spoken english.

Then half past hour later we found a tourist. Her name is Katie. Her name doesn´t appears in the video because I forgot to ask her. But then I asked what her name was. It was the first time that we did this kind of work, but turned out to be a bit difficult and easy at the same time, although we didn't understand certain things that he spoke to us. But the experience was very important why that helped us to understand how is a dialogue with a foreign. Besides, the interview helped us to put into practice our level of English.
