It’s really great being able to have the opportunity to learn about and handle the animals on campus! The sessions are in nice group sizes and there’s a good amount of time to be able to handle the animals. Overall very fun!

A great experience with animal welfare as a priority! We switch animals so the don’t get overwhelmed. As a first year student, I really appreciate every opportunity I get to handles any of the animals species that Hartpury has on site. I wish there were more opportunities!

Great experience being able to handle a wide variety of different that you might not have been able to access through your course.

It is amazing to be able to see and actually handle so many different animals. It provides an opportunity to develop skills and confidence around a variety of different animals, and is a great way to let your mind focus on something fun and relieve some stress!

From the two sessions I've had so far, I've loved them both. It is a great opportunity to see the animals up close and interact with one's you may not have had the opportunity to before, or to do so again with the ones you love. The group sizes are perfect so everyone gets to be involved and the hour is a good length of time as well.

The sessions were great however I didn’t attend many during semester 2 last year because the sessions where changed days and times to when I’d have lectures and others were cancelled, which was a shame because I managed to book onto the sessions I missed in semester one due to others high interest
