I think that the relation between the Inamura girl and the title goes deeper than the fact that she had a thousand cranes handkerchief. In Japan, it is traditionally believed that the thousand cranes are a symbol of luck,and it seems as though the Inamura girl is the luckiest character.As far as we know, she does have any dark secrets or any flaw whatsoever.
