^{While students are both excited and anxious over the new semester and the possibility of face-to-face classes, do take note that schools in different regions have varying guidelines depending on the Alert Level of their area.}

^{Yours can be one of the schools resuming on-campus classes. Whether you’re excited to see your classmates in the flesh or anxious about the beginning of classes, here are some tips to help you face the semester. Are you ready to go back to school (physically)?}

_{Face-to-face learning is better than online learning because the interactions and examples of face-to-face learning will benefit the learner more. During face-to-face learning, students’ questions will get immediate answers. However, during online learning, students have to wait for a response from the teacher. Immediate and efficient feedback response time is important to effective learning. In the classroom environment, students have the advantage of working in small groups where they can discuss difficult topics together. Sometimes discussing in person is easier than typing it out or trying to explain it in face-time online.}

I still strongly agree that a traditional face-to-face classroom promotes a better learning environment. I hope that the government can solve the problem as quickly as possible to avoid social problems among the students.} 

^{when you’re not feeling well, it’s best to stay at home instead. Once you’re well, make sure to frequently check your school’s social media pages for the latest updates and protocols for face-to-face classes.}

^{Bringing a sanitizing kit alone is not the way to go– using the items is! Siguraduhing palaging nag-di-disinfect ng iyong uupuan, your lunch table, the items you frequently use, and even your classmate’s or friend's hands (if they ask, of course). Wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible.}

^{It’s been a while since you saw your friends, and hugging them is tempting. But, for everyone’s safety, waving at each other will have to do in the meantime. Not only does it minimize possible contact with the virus, but hand waving also encourages everyone to still be friendly while remaining socially-distanced}

^{Another way to minimize the potential spread of the virus is to bring your own, well, everything: water bottle, utensils, calculators, pens, toiletries, and paper.}

^{1. To reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses, from person to person and from people to food contact surfaces are the main cause of the spread of coronavirus, the common cold, and the flu.} 

^{2. To reduce germs and bacteria found on the hands to safe levels, to prevent or eliminate the spread of bacteria and viruses, which increase the spread of illness in the cafeteria and classroom.} 

^{3. To reinforce and practice personal hygiene practices with all students.} 

^{4. To provide an opportunity for the class to develop correct handwashing procedures and then apply the procedures regularly.}

2. Only hand sanitizers containing 60-90% ethyl alcohol or isopropanol in concentration
with equivalent sanitizing, strength may be used as an adjunct to proper handwashing.

fingers, and under the fingernails.}

4. Coordinate the availability of supplies for handwashing: soap and single-use towels, in bathrooms and classrooms with hand sinks. 
5. Evaluate and monitor the implementation of handwashing and hand sanitizing.</sup></sub> 

<sub><sup>1. Demonstrate and present the steps to hand washing clearly and concisely. 
2. Ensure that proper and adequate facilities (i.e., sinks) are available and are in good working order. 
3. Provide time before meals and snacks for hand washing. 
4. Reinforce hand washing by setting the example and washing their hands according to when to wash hands. 
5. Consider assignments that permit the student to demonstrate handwashing comprehension. 
6. Motivate students on how to wash hands.</sup></sub> 

<sub><sup>1. Provide instructional materials for use in the classroom and restrooms which reinforce proper handwashing. 
2. Assist the principal in instructing teachers on proper handwashing procedures. 
3. Assist the classroom teacher in instructing students on proper handwashing procedures. 
4. Communicate with the principal, food service manager, and teachers any concerns related 
to increases in visits to the nurses’ office, which may be the result of improper handwashing or a foodborne illness outbreak.</sup></sub>
