My name is Xin Jiahao, in traditional Chinese spell method, Xin is my family name, Jiahao is my first name. I am a pure Chinese boy who burns in China mainland, if you know the Chinese ancient famous educator Confucius, maybe you know my home province, the Shandong Province. My home town is a small town in Shandong province which called Zibo City, we only have 4 million citizens there. Perhaps you have known some Chinese people in the UK, but I guess you have never know the same surname as me because this is a rare surname in China, but I have a big family in my hometown. Next time you come to China, I will set up a social dinner to let you known my family member, most of them are traditional workers. Through my previous studying and working life, most my friend told me that I am a natural leader of them because I could always be thinking logical (maybe just because all my parents are mathematics professor in the university, they have taught me more about math knowledge, I believe those may help me grow up more quickly than others) and clam, know how to develop problems step by step, so most of my friends and workmates like follow me. I have worked in Beijing 4 years, works as a PR, position at PR Manager, so there are so many events in my work life. But I think the most important event is BMW China culture journey, with this event, I spend more than 3 months travel in Sichuan Province with my client, journalist and a team of the college professor who works in Intangible Cultural Heritage. We working together to help protect China traditional Intangible Cultural Heritage and created a way to develop it becoming more modern. Besides, I help my client-BMW China finished the biggest CSR(Corporate social responsibility) PR case in China, the BMW may have a new Responsible image in China. When I send my client the last report email, I think this is the important events in my work life.

 

I choose to study economics and finance in the pre-master program because I want to set up a new challenge in my next 10 years. I used to work as a PR, but I decided to change my work in an investment bank, so I really need to learn so much economics and finance knowledge in the structure educated. But I do not have any economics and finance course in my college time, so I have to study in the Pre-master program. I choose to study in Uk because I only need one year study in the master program, the QMUL’s Pr-master program may give me more basic knowledge, and other Russell member believes QMUL’s Pre-course also a good choice, so I decided to study in QMUL.

 

Yesterday, I went to London eys with my new friend, I know London is a fabulous city in the EU, so if I have enough time, I want to travel all over the Uk. In part-time, I also want to find an intern job in the bank or investment industry, because I want to try working in London when I graduated from the master program. Because of that's, I hope I could have enough ability to studying in QMUL by fluency English language using skills. I would like to improve my speaking, written and listening aspects when I doing Foundations PSE, because I realized that communication is the best important way in my studying and working life.

By my tour, I feel good in the Information Age Gallery. People could say the completed development timeline about telecommunication technology. Some real things like Exchanging Printing machine is very rare. I only see it in some history document and Wikipedia pages. But I find some problem with this museum. For instance, the information age gallery shows something about the telephone, but it did not show some simple telephones Items. And there are not enough UK local brands exhibits shows to us. I think its also important part of UK information History. Otherwise, some exhibits are made by modern technology, so those ones also give people cheaply and not real feelings. So, I pay more about my attention on the digital telecommunication products, like the Business Exchanging Printing in the 19 century.

 

In this museum I actually see a completely equipment system, that’s a very amazing experience. By those exhibits, I have to know the exchanging service how to link two continental between the UK and American, and business exchanging associations how to hard-working on support the newest information between two the most important economic country. I have workout the video with Ben, and Ganesha. We were trying to help each to recording video, explain some strange vocabularies. For me, Ben help me recording a video to introducing the Business Exchanging Printing, I try to give a mostly detail background about submarine cables, try of digital communication, give a kind of information about the manufacturing company and the inventor Thomas Edison. Indeed, I try to create a history time from the 1860s to now, from watching my video, audience may not only know knowledge about Business Exchanging Printing, they also known how people try to connect another country and the Bloomberg also is a kind of Business Exchanging Printing, but old one use Printing machine, the morden one use Screen to “printing” information. So, perhaps I have finished a good part of my video. Next, I take a similar video, I may prepare to use more easy sentences and new lens sense to show more information about the equipment, after that, I need more practice on my video, and try to make it perfect next time.
