As “Bravely let him speak the utmost syllable of his confession.” he learned his true self and how to rely on himself alone to survive. As Chuck continued his journey, he was able to be vulnerable to himself. He does not give up hope as he always gives his best effort into living and being able to return home. Chuck “is relieved and gay when he has put his heart into his work and done his best….” He is extremely strong, not only physically but emotionally and mentally.
