The birth rate in Canada is low, I know this because when looking at the graph I can see that the 0-4 age is smaller than most of the other age groups. Then there's Japan, Japan's birth rate is smaller than Canada's and its 0-4 age group is the smallest compared to the rest of it's age groups. Lastly with Eritrea, the birth rate is extremely high. The bottom of the graph is wide, and probably the largest age group meaning that Eritrea has the highest birth rate.

In Canada I assume less than 40% of the population seems to be dependent on the working population of the country judging from the bars on the graph. And in Japan over 40% of the population is dependent on the working population. Lastly in Eritrea it looks to me that around 50% of the population is highly dependant on the much smaller working population, which is bad because if there aren't many people working then that means the economy goes down. And Eritrea has many births, so more babies and poor economy isn't good.

Starting off in Canada, I can see that some of the population is higher up in age. The highest that our life expectancy seems to be is 90-94 looking at the graph. Next is Japan, and in Japan the life expectancy is higher than Canada's and Eritrea's. They also have the highest aging population, their life expectancy looks to be around 95-99. Lastly, Eritrea has the lowest life expectancy and aging population. Their life expectancy looks to be around 80-84.

Personally, from this analysis I assume it's because of the difference in different aspects like immigration, economy and healthcare. Also factors like jobs and education could affect the choice of having children (also because it's normal to not want children in this generation). But overall, I think the services and economic state and opportunities are what shape the birth rate, dependency load and life expectancy a country and why many countries have differences in them.

I think that it's important for us to examine this information to help in the future because it can tell if a country has a declining population or a low life expectancy. Not only that but it can show how much of the population depends on the working population and how much of the population works. This information helps Canada because now they know that they have a declining population which means they have a lower birth rate.

Birth rate: The birth rate is how many individuals are born in a population in a given amount of time.

Dependency load: It compares the proportion of a population considered "dependent" (usually children and the elderly) to the "working-age" population.
