On page 40, the quote "Lenina blushed scarlet; but her eyes, the tone of her voice remained defiant. 'No, there hasn't been anyone else,' she answered almost truculently. 'And I jolly well don't see why there should have been." this shows how she was showing emotion and didn't see an issue with being with just Henry, this was putting her aside from everyone else in the World State because it was going against the rules). On page 61, in the quote, "Henry Foster had had his machine wheeled out of its lockup and, When Lenina arrived, was already seated in the cockpit, waiting. 'Four minutes late,' was all his comment, as she climbed beside him." This shows yet again that she is different from the rest of the World State because she was practically in a relationship with Henry as he waited for her to get home and flew her back. In the quote "'I'm sorry,' said Bernard, feeling and looking uncomfortably foolish" on page 70, you can see that he is showing signs of emotions because he's feeling insecure and self conscious. On page 64 in the quote, "Each time he found himself looking on the level, instead of downward, into a Delta's face, he felt humiliated. Would the creature treat him with the respect due to his caste? The question haunted him." This was showing how despite being on the highest caste, an Alpha he still feels like he is looked down upon by the lower level caste.
