Knott's Berry Farm- May

I went to Knott's Berry Farm for the first time in May. It was a moment I would never forget. Although it was a school trip, they still let us do whatever we wanted to do. I also got to go on this trip with my friends. The best part about this field trip was that we only had to pay $5 to go. The bus ride to Knotts Berry Farm was exciting, I got to sit next to my friend and we were watching a movie. I wish I could return to this moment to cherish the moments I spent with my friends. Not only did I go on rides with my friends, but I also got to go on rides with one of my favorite teachers. Sadly, I was scared to go on most rides, so I stayed behind while my friends were having fun. I remember staying at Knotts until it closed, I was exhausted from all the walking I did and even took a nap on the bus on the way back.

8th grade promotion- May

I was at the same school for 9 years. I was very excited about moving schools but also sad at the same time. The hardest part about attending a different school is saying goodbye to everyone. Since I've been at that school for a while, I know a lot of people and have been friends with them for years. The fact that I had to go to a new school and meet new people was scary for me. Although I was scared this also brought a new opportunity to start a new fresh start. This was also scary for me because I'm used to a small number of people in a school, but in high school, there are hundreds of different kids. On the day of the promotion, I was so nervous especially because I had to go up in front of everyone, but in the end,d everything turned out alright. One day I would like to go back to see all my old teachers. I hope I get to go back to my old school before I graduate highschool.

L.A.- June

I went to L.A. to find my friend's quinceanera dress. I hardly go to L.A., but it is for sure one of my favorite places to go to. I like to see all the pretty landscapes. We went walking around stores to find the dress she wanted and even got some food. The food there was amazing, I got a Hello Kitty waffle stuffed with ice cream and drizzled with strawberry jelly. The streets were packed with people, but it was still a fun experience. After we ate the food we got, we went to another store to find her dress, and she finally found the dress she wanted. They told us to come back in September, which made me excited because I got to go back to L.A. On the car ride home, we passed by Portos. I love L.A. and hope to visit it again this year.

My 14th Birthday- August

The start of the day sucked for me because I had just started school, but I wasn't going to let that affect my day. I imagined all the gifts I would receive when I got home and that helped me get through the day. When I got home there were decorations for me and a bunch of presents. I expected presents but not such big ones. My sister had gotten me a Hello Kitty Light, a Hello Kitty chair, and a Hello Kitty blanket. I received an iPhone 13 from my parents and it was pink. I was so happy when I received all these gifts and will be forever grateful. My family brought my cake and sang to me. This was my least favorite part because I hate when people sing Happy Birthday to me, it's so embarrassing and awkward. My 14th birthday has been so far the best birthday I've had.

Halloween- November

Although Halloween is on October 31st, I celebrated it on November 1st. I went to my friend's house with a couple of other friends. We dressed up in our Halloween costumes and watched movies. One of my friends brought snacks to eat while watching the movies. My friend also brought a Batman gingerbread house to build it together. First, we put on the movie and during that, we were building the gingerbread house. While we were building it, it was a chaos. There was a huge mess at the end. For example, there were sprinkles all over the place. The gingerbread house was a mess, covered with frosting, and looked like garbage. After building the gingerbread house, we used helium from a balloon to make funny voices. This day was probably my favorite day of the year.
