1. In 1611 Shakespeare retired to live 5 more years until his death.

2. He didn't sit around all day while he retired, Shakespeare had been monitoring his financial interests.

3. He also still helped younger "play writers" with their work after he retired.

4. He had time to spare with his granddaughter Elizabeth to play with.

5. His Final week. During the final week of his life his 2 friends Ben Jonson and Michael Drayton visited him and entertained him while he was dying. They ate and drank alot but after becoming ill and having a fever he passed away.
