Should another site be proposed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site instead of Singapore Botanic Garden?
Which criterion/criteria (E.g. out of the 10 criteria) do you think the site chosen satisfy to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site?

I think Tiong Bahru should be proposed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It fulfils criterion ii. to exhibit an important interchange of human values, over a span of time or within a cultural area of the world, on developments in architecture or technology, monumental arts, town-planning or landscape design, the first Community Centre having been built there. The Community Centre could promote friendship and harmony among the citizen, further the development of morals and promote the learning of cultures. It would be cultural, as Tiong Bahru shows how the people in the Community Centre further improved themselves and learnt from each other. They even set up the Vigilante Corps to patrol the area! This shows their development in town planning and protection of their neighbourhood.
