It was an ancestor of the shek that we discovered. It was like our actual snakes but much bigger. We know it was an ancestor of sheks. Thy have evolutionary relationship with other bigs snakes. Like water snakes of Amazonas river. They spend from 2 to 3 years in same placement. They normally have already a placement where they know they can stay (when they´re adults). When sheks are still too young to leave home they travel looking for new caves and valleys, so when they grow up they have a place to put eggs and live.
They always live in cold areas. They, in difference with other reptiles, don´t bear heat. And is very difficult to see a shek because they live alone (if don´t have a colony already) in dark caves near hillsides. Or in colonies, in snowy and remote cliffs where they have views of whatever enters their territory.
