Today I want to point out the subject of our project — a wall-mounted terrain puzzle. This is not just a puzzle. It is something that brings greening, creativity, and healing into the hospital space.

The main motive of this idea is to help people — especially cancer patients — feel better while they are walking through the hospital. Sometimes, people feel stress, fear, or sadness. We want to give them something fun, something they can touch, move, and enjoy.

The users of this puzzle are not only patients. It can also be family members, nurses, and doctors. Anyone walking by can join. They can add a piece, move a piece, and build a landscape together.

In the end, it becomes a shared picture made by many hands. This is how we bring nature, connection, and hope into a small part of the hospital.

Today, I am going to introduce you our design called “Green Clam”.What does “Green Clam” mean? It’s a house for succulent plants.

In hospital, the patients need treatment also they need emotional and psychological support. We hope those plants not only be decorations but also companying them.

Plants do not speak, but with their slow yet steady growth rhythm, they remind patients that even when they are weak at present, life is still quietly sprouting.

We hope the product can make patients feel warm and change their mood.

Also,we design some graphic design and some cheerful sentences according to the succulent plants.By doing this, we hope patients can gradually recover without stress and regain the inner peace and energy.

Hello, everyone! I am a first year international student of interaction and innovation design. I am currently working on a virtual reality exhibition. To put it simple, it is similar to game but we are going to focus more on the story than the gameplay. Our story is inspired by the concert of a Japanese band called Yorushika. It is about the story of a painter who has trouble painting because of lack of inspiration and his journey to find the inspiration.

My name is Emilia, and I study in the Department of Interaction Design and Innovation.

Our group project for the course “Fundamental Design” is a virtual show inspired by the mood and themes of Fujii Kaze’s music.

Our motivation is not only to complete the assignment but also to explore emotional stories and real-life issues. The show is aimed at teenagers and young adults — many of them might relate to the characters and experiences we present.

What makes our project unique is the way we reflect the spirit of Fujii Kaze’s songs through original storytelling, combined with detailed work — from 3D modeling to design -drawn art.

Technology has integrated into our daily life, I want to create a something special for blind people while they are struggling with their inabilities

Also, this design is not only suitable for blinds’ everyday use, it is also made with

ergonomics and functionality. The dual feature uses in this technology makes it not only portable for blinds to carry it around, it also ensures a comfortability for long term used.

I’m currently working on a design project that’s really close to my heart.

It’s a small planting kit made for cancer patients in hospitals.

The idea is to help them relax and feel more peaceful during treatment.

The kit includes soil, moss, stones, and a small “hope seed” that patients can plant.

It’s a simple but meaningful way for them to connect with nature.

They can care for the plant, watch it grow, and feel a sense of progress and healing.

There’s also a small interactive part,

where they can decorate the little garden space — like a tiny home for the plant.

I really hope this design can bring a bit of comfort and emotional support to people during a hard time.

In this semester, I am working on meditation app named A-Mate for our seniors with my teammate. The senior means our parents and grandparents.

Elderly individuals often lack knowledge of their emotions, due to their era's limited access to mental health education, they also struggle to engage with modern tech.

Our project aims to remove this gap by introducing emotional education and regulation techniques tailored to seniors’ learning styles. Also we use one button controller to guide users through clear steps.

What makes this Comic Zine special is its relatable storytelling, hand-drawn visuals, and a blend of humor and sincerity.

Our team chose a meditation metaverse exhibition where we created an interactive game with fantasy theme. From this game, we expect to help people with mental health issues how to deal with their conditions. The uniqueness of your project lies in combining fantasy-themed gameplay with meditation, creating an interactive and engaging way to support mental health. It makes mindfulness more enjoyable and accessible through personalized journeys and progress tracking.

It’s an interactive installation that raises awareness of reef fragility. Aimed at students and the general public, it uses glowing projections, marine visuals, and spatial audio to create an engaging underwater experience. Using projection mapping, users can interact with the reef through motion.

Today, I’d like to introduce my latest project, titled “Passage, Not for Storage.”

The inspiration comes from a common issue in many old apartment buildings — people often place personal items in the stairwell, treating it as storage space. However, this creates safety hazards and blocks emergency evacuation routes.

It’s an MR interactive device , we can communicate with other through the virtual window.

We can see various worlds through the window , and we can also control the world we see.

The motivation of our design is we want to achieve the concept of "Internet of Things" through this design, let people could connect with others in this virtual world.

I made a display shelf that can be placed in the community, so people can show what they made during activities.

This shelf has many parts that you can change.

You can switch them around based on your ideas and needs.

While going through treatment, cancer patients often feel emotionally and mentally exhausted too. So I wanted to design something that helps them relax and lets them take their mind off the pain, even if just for a little while.

We designed the project that it can "know" the menstruation is coming--when you take piece of sanitary napkin, the sensor will detect that action and record it automatically. then you don't even have to write it down or edit the period record by yourself, so that it solves the problem that maybe you forgot to record it, or forgot to prepare the sanitary napkin when you need.

This design started from a simple question: why are so many public installations only for looking, not for using?

In community spaces, people need places to sit, display their work, or interact during events.

So I created a modular system that allows each unit to transform into a seat, a display, or even a small platform.

It’s lightweight, easy to move, and most importantly, it invites people to co-create and take part in shaping their shared space.

My project is called Emosphere and I took inspirations from a specific scene of the movie Inside Out that features an object called the “Core Memory”. We basically turned this into a semi-reality by creating a device that can be scanned using a glass orb. This will triggers a video in the background which shows different first person POV perspectives of emotions that may be felt by foreigners living here. Whether it’s homesick or any culture shock experience, I tried to represent this through the concept of the gachapon machine.

my name is Isabel and I am from the department of Finance and Information Management. I want to talk about my project for my Information Services and Customer Relations, where I will be using databases and putting them into a data analysis website to be able to change and manipulate the data into a data visualization table.

I chose this project because I find it very interesting to be able to turn data into a visualization table, since its turns boring excel sheets into visually appealing charts that are much more easier to understand.

Today, I want to talk about my latest design project for a company called UKL focusing on their brand: Evopure+ in creating a sustainable tableware that fits their market audience.

By blending science, storytelling, and public design, we aim to plant seeds of empathy and understanding in the next generation.

This toy enhances the creativity within young children around the todler age. Also it is fully made from a natural material and therefore good for the environment. The idea is to let the children mix their own animal by swapping the limbs and accessories.

This semester, we are working on a furniture design project.

I designed a rocking chair specially made for the elderly, focusing on comfort, safety, and user-friendly interaction.

I chose a no-brand digital thermometer. While it works fine, its appearance is very basic and cheap-looking.

For my redesign, I took inspiration from military aesthetics. I added sharp angles, structured lines, and visual elements similar to armor or military equipment. My goal was to create a cooler, more aggressive look—something that stands out and makes people feel like, this isn’t just an ordinary thermometer.

So far, I’ve completed a series of design sketches. Next, I’ll build a 3D model and use a 3D printer to produce the new shell. Then, I’ll disassemble the original thermometer, take the electronic components, and place them inside my redesigned outer case. The result will be a fully functional thermometer, but with a completely new appearance.

BEAST is not a typical animal book. It’s not scientific or formal — it’s a colorful, diary-style collection of animal stories, that touch our heart, make us feel surprised, make us laugh and sometimes even cry.

It also features interchangeable massage modules and adjustable intensity for personalized comfort.

With a simple, home-friendly appearance and elegant floral embroidery, the design blends functionality with aesthetics, aiming to promote well-being and improve the quality of life for seniors.

Our design is a Mixed Reality (MR) interactive device featuring a "virtual window." Through it, users can see and control various virtual worlds while communicating with others in real-time. Inspired by the Internet of Things, this device enables immersive interaction by letting users manipulate the virtual environment using gestures or voice. It blends the real and virtual worlds, allowing people to connect, explore, and collaborate across different spaces through this innovative virtual window.

The purpose is to help improve their communication skills through interactive and engaging exercises.

The device includes visual cues, sound feedback, and simple touch-based interactions.

I focused on user-friendly design, making it easy to understand and use without causing stress.

Through this project, I explored how design can support inclusivity and real-world needs.
