About what I know in Colonial Times in Social Pyramid, native and africans were bad looked, but after arauco war, started mixtures betwen: African, Spainards and Natives. So were created the races(also where designed different jobs for each race)
Native + Spainard = Mestizo.
African + Spainard = Mulato.
Native + African = Zambo.
But now at days, there are respected as a normal person.
