Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead

This celebration lasts two days, November 1 and 2nd. The first day is to honor the children who have passed away, and the second day is to honor the adults. Families go out and decorate their graves, the children's graves are decorated with white orchids. The adults graves are decorated with bright orange marigolds. The most familiar symbol of dial de los muertos are the skeletons and skulls, which appear everywhere in this holiday.
