The Mumunsa temple in Rochester Hills is an important Buddhist temple. Their head Monk of the temple is Suk Doe-Mahn S’nim. The temple has Dharma meetings and meditation practice weekly. They had a long history that began on October 30, 1989, when they moved to Rochester Hills. On October 15, 1984, they consolidated 2 temples, Ko-Ryo-sa and Sun-kook sa. On October 13, 1991, they had their groundbreaking of the Dharma hall. On May 19, 2002, they completed their landscape and opened the temple again. The MUmunsa temple is an important temple because it helps many Muslims pray and meditate.

The "Gurdwara of Rochester" was registered as a non-profit organization in 1976 his Gurdwara serves as a central place of worship for the Sikh community in Rochester which makes it important.
