This will soon effect me personally more directly and I already feel the effects of it now. I work as a pre-school teacher at the moment and we are very underpaid and understaffed. Even being a full-time student, I have began searching for a second job because I simply cannot afford to live. Teachers are the building blocks of our society, and yet, they are so under-appreciated. Although I am so passionate about becoming a teacher, I am fearful about being able to afford to stay in that profession, to be able to support myself, and eventually a family.
