I use ICTs for many things but the most notable ones are typically activities that relate to my education. A lot of schoolwork requires ICTs especially during this pandemic where schools have become online. Even this blog I’m writing could be a way for me to illustrate my digital citizenship. Writing this blog has allowed me to used elements such as digital access. There are other activities that allow me to show my digital citizenship. One way is by writing a research article. When writing research articles, I need to do research which requires access to ICTs. This already showcases the element of digital access. Upon researching, I would need to verify the information I gather and check if they are true or false. This highlights digital literacy. When submitting the article, I would also need to credit the original sources as to avoid plagiarism. This is a case of digital law. From just doing a research paper, I have showcased three elements of my digital citizenship.

ICTs are a useful tool for our everyday life. But we must also remember to be responsible digital citizens so that we could promote a safe cyberspace for everyone. Always keep in mind that when doing something in the Internet, be safe, be responsible, and knowledgeable.
