Expert opinion: Morris, , Graham, Pryor and Mohammed.]]> 2021-04-16 05:00:04 UTC https://padlet.com/gavarong/ycd974e274wuz57k/wish/1424142061 gavarong https://padlet.com/gavarong/ycd974e274wuz57k/wish/1424161537 In the article “We're embracing tech during lockdown – but can it replace the classroom?”, Katie Bishop (2020) argued that technology has been useful in this time of the pandemic, but it cannot replace the classroom since remote learning has shown a profound problem of inequality which was not in the classrooms.  First, Bishop (2020) reports the increase in the use of technological platforms, and she supports her argument with the information provided by senior executives of technology companies such as Trello, Seesaw, and Ed Research Works, and Michael Morris director of the Digital Pedagogy Lab at the University of Colorado Denver, who inform the benefits that COVID-19 has brought to the technology since platforms designed there are suitable to teach.  On the other hand, the author states that this pandemic has revealed that not everyone has access to technology due to there is no equality, and this a significant challenge not only for educators but also for technology companies that must be overcome.
