Maltreatment causes stress and is associated with disorders of early brain development. Extreme cases of stress can alter the development of the nervous and immune systems. 

That is why it is important to help people, especially children, not to feel unprotected or rejected. That is why our campaign was able to partner with the Needed Child Abuse Rehabilitation Institute in order to help many children who have suffered from violence.

Our campaign was very successful because many people are aware that nowadays there is a lot of violence and even more so because of the situation we are living in right now.

We managed to share the voices for all those who suffer from some type of violence, to go to our campaign or directly to the Institute, in order to receive help.

Attempts to run away from home. Another important consequence is the need to run away from home, especially if it is the place where the abuse is occurring.
Suicide attempts. On extreme occasions the child may attempt to take his or her own life.
