The event would be located in New York City in a booth near a newspaper vendor. The booth would consist of tables and chairs, with the capacity of ten people being able to participate at once. The art element is creating your own mosaic with strips of newspaper. The participants would be creating their own strips and pasting them on their canvas.

Participants can take as long as they want, and when they are finished, a picture will be taken of the shoes they designed and they are allowed to take the shoes for themselves. Pictures of all the shoes designed across the several locations of the participatory event will be compiled and posted, serving to represent the emotions that represent our nation.
