This statue was built between 1501 and 1504. The Renaissance was a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, and economic “rebirth” following the Middle English Period. Generally described as taking place from the 14th century to the 17th century. I like this writing style because it is different to modern writing. In this article they talk about Charles II. He was the first monarch of this era. A challenge that people sought during this era was saying one thing and doing another thing. I find this to be a trend today as well.
