I chose this place because many people don’t know how spacial this island is. It is special because of its clean, pure and blue to green water. Although it is the smallest island of Kuwait’s 9 islands, it produces the most important material that we count on in our lives which is some kind of oil deposits called bitumen which is “Qar in Arabic”. You must have known clearly why it was named Qaruh Island. Actually, that is not the only reason why it was called like that, but also you can smell the bitumen like air out there. Moreover, it was the first island to be freed from the Gulf War and cleaned from wastes and pollution. This island is related to our theme as it is one of the unpopular islands of Kuwait. I really think that many people should know about this place because it is such a perfect place to practice scuba diving, snorkeling and other water activities. It is a wonderful place for swimming and tanning as well. The clear blue ocean and the white pure sand gives a tremendously stunning view. In fact, what makes Umm Al Maradim Island special is the astonishing seascape view. Besides, Umm Al Maradim Island was the second Kuwaiti land to be free from the invaders resulted from the Invasion of Kuwait in 1990. In which, the invaders form their surrender letter on the island’s rocks, as a result to be officially liberated on 25 February 1991. Moreover, on this land the Kuwaiti flag was raised once again demonstrating the defeat and overcome of the hostility that happened, and the beginning with the restoration of legitimacy. In addition, Umm Al Maradim Island is near to Qaruh Island, and it has been well known that it has deep water surroundings where big ships could safely go across it. It has a great advantage of the deep water surroundings in which most Kuwait islands do not have. This island have been the tourist's most attraction place, due to the multiple types of birds such as seagulls, flamingos, various types of wild plants, large fish and a huge amount of pearl oysters. In fact, during the winter season, Umm Al Maradim Island is the rainiest place in Kuwait. Therefore, Umm Al Maradim Island is related to our theme, in which our topic is about rare islands in Kuwait that most people do not know about. It was called Kubbar because of the presence of the red shavings plant, which is also called the caper. It is also said that the reason for its name is Kubbar because it is higher than the surface of the earth which you can see it from a distance . What makes this place so special is that  it’s characterized by its calm, clear waters, soft sand, and the abundance of rare birds, which attract lovers of the sea, fishing and photographers to visit it . This place related to our theme ,kubbar one of the most important islands in kuwait and a lot of people don’t know about it . I want people to know about this place and visit it because it's one of the prettiest places in kuwait and you can do what ever you want and feel happy about it . Also, you will have a lot of fun.  You will also find a lot of sea animals like starfish and seashells.

Warbah Island is an Kuwaiti island located in the Persian gulf near the mouth of the Euphrates river. I chose this place to talk about because it needs more recognition because it’s specialized and known for the exotic different kinds of birds that they made many studies about for more than 100 years. This place is related to the group theme that we chose which unpopular islands.
Warbah Island:
    There are no citizens in there and the sand is
very soft also the water is very clear you can go fishing or pick up sea shells from their beautiful beach. And it rains a lot over there in Warbah but as much as it rains the plants don’t grow there for an unknown reason. I want people to know more about this place because it has a beautiful beach for activities and sadly it’s very underrated and in my opinion I think we should give Kuwait islands more attention and recognition and make them more entertaining and fun for everyone to visit I really hope it becomes a big project for Kuwait someday.

What an interesting name! this island is located within Kuwait Bay. I chose this place because of the mysterious name of the island attracted me to know more about it, and also to represents the beauty of nature that Kuwait is known for. Its well known for its ancient materials and finds from both Islamic and bronze period, its shaped in a unique oval shape with a sand cape. A variety of beautiful pearl oysters spread on the shore and under the ocean. It’s surrounded by deep waters which enable ships to land directly of its shores which is the main factor that makes Umm Al Namil different and special from the other islands. Umm Al Namil is a rare island which is related to our group theme in which our main topic is about Kuwait unfamiliar islands. In addition I want people to know this magnificent place to visit it for relaxing and a change of scenery, plus it’s filled with a lot of activities that you can spend some quality time with your family and loved ones.
