Breaking down a standard into objectives and learning targets help me as a future teacher by clarifying the standards meaning- standards are usually very broad and breaking down the standard will help me truly understand what my students will learn.

It is important to write objectives and learning targets in student-friendly language because it improves student understanding. Writing the standard in a language they will be able to understand what they are learning and why it matters.

One challenge I faced while completing this assignment was rewriting the standard and breaking it down. I overcame this by putting the standard in my own words and then made it student- friendly

I was able to overcome this by breaking the standard down and taking time to focus and reflect on what the nouns and verbs in the standard are truly requiring of the student. I tried to incorporate a big idea that was easier for a student to understand what is being asked of them.

Breaking down a standard into objectives and learning targets helps me as a future teacher by clarifying and developing a deeper understanding behind the standards and their concepts. Along with what the students need to learn and grasp from the learning experience.

It is important to write objectives and learning targets in student-friendly language so the students have the ability to understand what is being asked of them. If they are able to understand what is being asked of them they will succeed in the assignment, if they can't understand what is being asked of them they will ultimately be confused and may fail at the assignment.

The challenge I encountered while completing this assignment was breaking down the standard into the ABCD objective, along with the skills, concepts, and big ideas. But after I realized I had already broken a standard down in EDU 250 and went back and looked at what I did within that standard it helped me focus on what I needed to do within this standard and made me feel like I had put my best foot forward.
