NursngTimes.net The site provides articles on nursing care delivery, health related issues, opinion pieces, book reviews and much more. AllNurses.com provides nurses with a support network, and allows them to exchange industry and career related information and advice. The site also advertises job postings. For the first time, the world was faced with a pandemic, which challenged the economic sector and the health sector over all. This virus has become part of our lives in 2019 and has disrupted living habits all over the world, causing many deaths and forcing us to stay in our homes for a variety of times. To date, we still have not been able to get out of this pandemic even though thanks to vaccines and changing our habits, conditions have greatly improved and we are finally heading toward a return to normalcy.

The film I have chosen to summarize is Patch Adams, one of the films that struck me the most because it made me think about how important it is not only to cure the disease but in a sense to treat the person as a global being therefore also from the human point of view.The story of the film centers on Hunter "Patch" Adams, a man who attempts to commit suicide, but fortunately without succeeding. Adams then decides to commit himself to a mental institution, where he slowly realizes that humor helps patients in a better way than regular medical psychotherapy. So with a new purpose in life Patch Adams enrolls in medical school, turning out to be the oldest student in his first year. Adams challenges traditional medical school teachings, deeming them soulless, and invents a new approach in which humor and friendship with the patient take over. His method does not please everyone, however, and Adams will attract the dislikes of many of his colleagues and even the dean of the university. Patch also meets Carin Fisher, a student who at first takes a dislike to him but then slowly becomes his friend until she falls in love with him.
