In the summer the bottom of a lake or pond could be 39 degrees Fahrenheit, while the top of the lake or pond could be 72 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter the bottom could be 39 degrees, while the top is at least 32 degrees Fahrenheit.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One example of a parasitic relationship is between the Schistocephalus solidus (Cestoda) and the Gasterosteus aculeatus. When the cestoda interacts it harms the acueleatus. An example of a commensal relationship is between the Rainbow smelt and pond weed. The pond weed creates a layer over the water that gives protection and also doesn't harm either of them. An example of mutualism is between Green algae and aquatic fungi. Both of them work together to form lichen.</div>]]></description>
