  • Building 1 is used for storing the main farming equipment, like tractors. It is close to the house if needed and is large enough to store all of it. 
  • Building 2 is food storage for the animals on the farm. Even though our animals are grass fed, the receive grain as a treat or it the natural grass is not plentiful
  • Building 3 is the attachments for the farming machines. This includes seeders, tillers, fertilizer sprayers and plows
  • Build 4 is the living quarters for the people working the farm. Good location because it is close to the equipment if there is an emergency 
  • Building 5 is the slaughterhouse. There is a road leading to it so it is easily accessible and away from other buildings so that it does not smell up other buildings.

In field 2 we will use the windbreak method, where we will plant shrubs around our crops to protect the soil for erosion. We will also use mulch to cover soil to prevent runoff.
