Such as the amazing Appalachian mountains. These mountains stretch for about 2,400 km long. This region’s topography includes land forms like mountains, hills and plains, with rivers and lakes scattered throughout. The long Appalachian Mountains goes through the of the Northeast, petering out into hills and plains toward the Atlantic Ocean and Great Lakes. And of course the Adirondack Mountains This circular group of mountains is joined by another land form Lake Champlain.
