Today, we are going to talk about the spring term in year six.

 Hina: The theme of this term was about the environment such as: plastic pollution; animal abuse; deforestation; and human invasion. In reading, we looked at the story from Shaun Tan which was all about animal invasions. At the end of the term, we made our COP27 speech.

 Nina : We really enjoyed the trip to the ''Harry Potter Exhibition" where we saw lots of magical things like the invisibility cloak, mummy's of mermaids (which horrified us) and old books with informations of witchcraft and wizards.

Miki: Even though there was online learning, we still enjoyed the class and we could spend more time with our family. The 19-book challenge gave us a new opportunity to read more books and we could meet new exciting books that we enjoyed a lot.

It has been a year since we started opening new doors which Ms. Fletcher said in our first assembly.  This year has been a big year with lots of things happed this year for example summer show case, house competitions, mountain day, and lastly our wonderful trips to exquisite places. This nice things can’t happen with out our wonderful teachers. We should give a round of applause to our teacher who supported this. Students might remember going to North Peak it was wonderful that we had a nice time learning outside in a different place. We did barbecue, campfire and going to home farm. I think that going to different places and opening new doors are a good thing and we should start opening doors of opportunities which might have a good impact of learning new things.
