Unfortunately, myself and a few of my friends were not added to the aula space (VLE) in order to see when these sessions were, or any of the material / topics covered, until 7 sessions into the 10 session term. 

This effected my ability and confidence when it came to starting this paper as I literally had NO idea where or how to start, or even what any of the requirements were.

Once i was added to the space later in the term, I attended as many of the lectures as possible, still not really finding them too useful as I was commuting a 2.5 hour commute for a 20 minute class where I was told what I already knew - that I had to get started.

After I met with Karel Doing independently, I found that his explanation of things helped a lot more than any of the classes I had attended. On this day, I wrote the introduction and chapter 2 of my dissertation. I did this in this order because I wanted to start with the topics I was most comfortable writing; in order to get in the flow of it all.

I found this went relatively fast and suddenly writing this essay didn't seem too daunting.

I also created a survey of which I planned to analyse the results of in chapter 3 of my dissertation and sent it out to a group of people I saw fitting to the target audience I was to be referencing throughout this paper. I spent my day writing chapter 1 of this dissertation - referencing my A Level Media Studies very heavily. This was the chapter I was most scared of because it was the most academic. I am in no way na academic person. I knew that my term and holiday would be far too busy. I considered how subjective the creation of art can be, and how one person may see my practical work completely differently to how I intend it to be perceived, as well as the fact that this dissertation would be written at the same time as that of the creation of my FMP (final major project), which I wanted to be completely focused on.
