Some of the most interesting points:

- The natural environment can act as a 'cognitive reset' to improve focus . Also, studies have shown higher results in students whose classrooms have unrestricted views of nature. Leafy plants in a learning space were found to have a similar effect.

- Temperature: 20-23 degrees and 50% humidity have been found to be ideal

- Light exposure has a big impact on learning. Light exposure impacts sleep-wake cycles and subsequently cognitive performance. Blue light is the most powerful - this can be found in screens but also sunlight. Sunlight = increased learning outcomes. Overexposure through screens (esp. at night) = sleep disruption and subsequent lessening of memory/cognitive function.

- Noise is another factor that can interfere significantly - particularly for younger students who haven't yet developed executive functioning skills (ability to filter, focus etc)
