Top 12 Apps

These are the top 12 apps we use in the classroom. Plus a bonus experimental app that promises to be a lot of fun (if you have a drone).
1. QR Code Reader - easier to scan a link than having to type it in.
2. One Drive - all student documents in one place and accessible from anywhere.
3. Maps - mapping locations in History all the time.
4. Excel - OK, we haven't really used it all, but maybe this year. :)
5. Flip Grid - Give them a prompt and students film their responses. They love it!
6. Chrome - Easy web browser and better than Silk.
7. Fox It - essential viewer for PDFs with powerful annotation features.
8. Power Point - To be honest, not the best to create a PPT on a small tablet, but it is nice to view a PPT on them.
9. Outlook - the best app for mail if you operate in a MS Office environment.
10. Google Earth - for geography - and finding what your house. :)
11. MS Word - the best word processing app in an MS Office environment.
12 Streetview - immersive street scenes of almost anywhere in the world.
13. Flying See - watch streaming video and take pictures from a drone's camera.
