I started to play because my brother did. I always copied him growing up. I started varsity for our school as a freshman. I even got second team all conference. My family is split when it comes to religion. My moms side is not religious, but my dads side is. This was never a big deal. I went to church growing up, but never consistently. My family is all close in age, and all lives near each other. In school I have always wanted to be the best. It wasn't always possible, but I tried. I am an average A/B student. School has also brought out some bad habits of mine, one example being procrastinating. I always push things off to the last minute. A lesson school has taught me is that as long as you try your best you did good. He is supportive of all of my dreams and does what he can to help me achieve them. Growing up I remember him playing with us. I also remember crying at the kitchen table doing math homework with him. It is a joke we now talk about. My dad works very hard to help the family. The lesson he has taught me is that I have to think for myself and I can't let other people control me.
