You know they're there but they cant hear you.
Screaming, crying and begging to be seen. 
You cant choose your family.
I suffer in silence because no one listens.
My father left years ago, and my mother? Well...No matter how hard I try to be heard, I'm told its all a cry for attention.
My brother has no time to talk, engulfed in his studies.
I'm longing to be understood! 
I'm alone, even though everyone's there.
Drowning in my sea of emotion.
Family is supposed to love you and support you when you need it most. Hold you, protect you, wipe away your tears and tell you its going to be okay.
But I guess its not completely true.
In my case anyway.

The fact that she suffers with anxiety and depression doesn't help her situation.
She just wants to be able to talk to someone who she trusts about her problems but she's always turned away or is told that someone else is worse off than her. 
This puts her off talking to anyone in fear that they will say the same. 
This has caused her to be concealed and makes her shy away from everyone.
