Bacteria can be found everywhere. Bacteria can live in very tough climates. They can live under water, in the arctic, and they can live in the warm water vents near volcanoes. There are bacteria where you are sitting and in the air you breathe. There is bacteria on computers, cell phones, rails, keyboards, door handles, and many other things. Don't be scared however, because not all bacteria is harmful.

I investigated a bathroom, stair rail, keyboard, and a door handle for contact sources. The gym was my exposure source. If I collected bacteria, then I will see the most growth samples collected from the keyboard because they are never cleaned.

The keyboard was in the library which is a very popular place. The keyboards are either rarely or never cleaned making it infested with many microorganisms. The keyboards are used a lot throughout the day from different people. Who knows? Maybe someone who didn't wash their hands was using the keyboard.

There are a lot of dots on the petri dish for the keyboard. Some dots were bigger than others and some were smaller. However, they all looked the same because they were reproducing asexually. The keyboard's are rarely clean making it infested with bacteria.
