The freedom of assembly allows people to come together and unify as one for a cause they all believe in, with hopes that their voices together could achieve their goals. As seen in many history, many changes were made involving the rights of workers, race, LGBT,  etc. have taken place due to various movements where people peacefully assembled together to have their voices heard. Today, freedom of assembly happens frequently involving millions of Americans fighting for various causes. One of the most prevalent movements in today's time is the movement against our president. 

Even before his presidency, Donald Trump had already angered millions of Americans through his actions and choices of words in social media. Only a few weeks in of his presidency, thousands of Americans all over the country have already gather together in their Anti-Trump movement. One of the biggest reasons the Anti-Trump movement has gotten stronger this past month was due to his infamous ban on seven Muslim-majority countries shortly after becoming president. With stronger reason and support for this movement, countless rallies have taken place all over the country for the impeachment of Trump.

This article displays the freedom of assembly granted to us in the first amendment as thousands of Americans have unified together for a single goal that they believe in, without government stopping them from doing so. This is important because the people are able to voice their concerns about the government freely, without the government stopping them from doing so. The freedom of assembly is an important tool for the citizens of America as it can be used to create changes that many Americans believe in that is impossible to do alone.
