Q1. How is Mass different from volume?
ANS: Matter is made up of mass and volume.
Mass is the amount of matter(weight).It is measured in Kgs,gm,etc.
Volume is the occupied space by the object.It is measured in m3,cm3 etc.

Q2. Why do you think few things float or sink?
ANS: Things float or sink depending on their weight.
Ex 1-A boat floats on water.
Ex 2-A cork ball sinks in water.
The boat floats on water because it is lighter than water whereas the cork ball sinks in water because it is heavier than water.
