Achtung! Die Konzentration des Ammoniaks im EDTA-Plasma nimmt nach der Blutentnahme im Zeitverlauf schnell zu. Dies kann zu falsch hohen Werten führen!
Aus diesem Grunde muss folgende Präanalytik beachtet werden:


1.      Blutentnahme aus möglichst ungestauter Venen
2.      EDTA-Plasma sofort abzentrifugieren, tieffrieren und
         tiefgefroren einsenden oder  Probe innerhalb von 20 Minuten
ins Labor bringen
3.      Ggf. Blutentnahme direkt im Labor veranlassen
