-Planning is key, the reason for this is that before you can implement anything you need to plan it properly or it will cause unnecessary risk. 

-Make sure to consider the risks, you need to make sure that all risks are considered thoroughly to make sure the project has the best chance of success possible. 

-Communicate constantly, and also make sure that the communication is clear.

-Make sure to use available project management tools such as trello etc.

- Make sure to pick the right team members.

-Make sure that there isn't any scope creep.
