Although Eargle was a faithfully married man he was still worried. After receiving the email he reached out to the authorities and then posted about this email on his blog. He found out that many men have been receiving the same email, the only difference was the amount of money the blackmailer asked for. He had hacked into her webcam and secretly recorded her for a year. If she didn't send him better quality photos, snapchat him or skype him then he would continuously harass her, this went on for several months until he finally turned himself in. The stalker turned out to be someone who she went to high school with and lived in her home town named Jared James Abrahams, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison. The video explains the dangers of technology, it's so simple for someone just to hack into a webcam and record your every move.
