This theatre project lets me explore Filipino stories from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The music project made me research things and find many more sources to understand what I am working with. It has allowed me and encouraged me to learn more and appreciate without any appropriation. Seeing how diverse our traditional chants are, how rich it is in meaning and traditions, I realized that even the minuscule things in our culture aren’t handled easily. Such as the lyrics and rhythm to a chant, it brings life to stories told.

It has helped me by making things convenient on my part and experimentation with rhythm is much easier. By using my own device, my voice, and my flute, it made my work simple and expressive.

1. By creating the background for the stories, ive learned how to create or tell these stories in a modern way. This has also improved my understanding of my specialization in media arts, it taught me how the background can be important as to how this can showcase out culture and how this can represent us.

2. Unlike traditional painting, ICT gave me alot of freedom. I could experiment with dozens of color schemes, fonts, and layouts without any physical materials. Say, if I didn't like something about the background I could just easily delete it.
