The girls Kit and Fancy love death and blood. One night a thief went into their room and tried to steal something but Kit slashed the prowlers chest and made a deep mark. Fancy didn't want to kill him so they took him down to the cellar and chained him up. The cellar is famous everywhere because that is where their Dad killed all those people. One example of her being brave is when she went into the Dark Forest just to get something that she didn't even know what of. She is also brave because no one goes into the Dark forest and comes back out alive, most of the time. She is very determined because when the frogmen things were chasing her she didn't wait for them to kill her, she ran and got out alive and well.
